Westmoreland Congratulates Daniel Stout on Being Selected to Serve on the NRC Board of Directors

I would like to congratulate Daniel Stout for being selected to serve on the Board of Directors for the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC).  His company STX Railroad Construction Services is located in Peachtree City in Georgia’s Third Congressional District.  As a member of the Board of Directors, Daniel will focus his energy on initiatives that create value and opportunities for NRC member companies.

I had the pleasure of meeting Daniel earlier this year at an event I held with his company at the Kia plant in West Point.  His company upgraded the rails that run through the Kia plant that are used to transport approximately 58 percent of the cars manufactured there.  It was a great opportunity to learn more about the railroad industry in Georgia and what STX Railroad Construction was doing to improve and maintain the more than 4,600 miles of freight railroad track in our state.

Congratulations again to Daniel and the STX Railroad Construction Services company.  We wish you good luck in your new role!
